Symptoms

When attempting to book a sales order line for a new model item, the following error occurs:

'Scheduling failed. The requested item or one of its components is not collected'

Also, the Debug file shows the error:

MRP COUNT IS 2
SCHEDULE ACTION CODE SCHEDULE
ERROR FROM MRP: 85
SCHEDULING FAILED
85

ATP Data Collection is run on a daily basis.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Insert new item of type MODEL
  2. Create BOM for the item
  3. Add the item to price list
  4. Insert new Sales order and add the item.
  5. Book order
  6. Getting the error massage.
