Goal
The goal of this document is to outline the correct procedure when a device IOS needs to be updated on a device currently managed with IP Service Activator.
This document does not cover the details provided in the Network Discovery and Basic Setup guide for checking device status and capabilities.
This document assumes the capability files and MIPSA registry have already been checked and/or updated by Oracle Global Customer Support to provide support for the new IOS and have been tested by the customer in a lab environment.
