User cannot login due to UI and Policy Server version mistmatch (Doc ID 735397.1)

Symptoms


When the IPSA UI is started the following is seen

error:

Could not connect to server.

Parameter: master_server.

Please ensure that the Orchestream Naming Service and Component Manager processes are running
on your system.


Changes

Recent patch upgrades to server.

Note: the same symptoms can also be causes by incorrect UI shortcut parameters. Please refer to <Note.455215.1> for more details
