ASAP Continuously Attempts To Process A Timed Out Workorder (Doc ID 742717.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 28, 2012

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP Cartridges - Version 3.1.1 and later
Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 4.7.1 to 5.2.3 [Release 4.7 to 5.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After sending a provisioning request that contains a 10-digit number, the SOAP connection terminates between the JNEP and the NE with the following error:

115600.912:Connection handler viepasace-sk-50091:LOW
:com.metasolv.cartridge.oss.sihiq8000net_8_0.prov.SiHiq8000NetProv:
com.mslv.activation.protocol.telnet.TelnetException: waitfor timed out.

This results in the work order staying in the same state and ASAP continuously attempting to process the work order - this means the connection to the NE continuously fails and no ASDLs complete to that NE.
