Goal
The PCM_OP_AR_BILL_ADJUSTMENT opcode returns a warning message "The existing negative bill due is becoming positive" when the bill to be adjusted has some tax items. The reason for this error is because BRM is calculating the net amount of the bill to be adjusted and, since the adjustment amount is higher than the net bill due amount, the warning is returned. Also the opcode does not take into consideration the PIN_FLD_FLAGS field, so no matter if you specify the adjustment including or excluding taxes, the opcode is still calculating the net amount and returning the error. In short, the reason seems to be because the opcode is deducting the taxes from the bill amount and then, the adjusted amount becomes greater.
Could, this be explained ?
