Symptoms

MetaSolv Solution users receive Printing Error messages in random areas throughout the application indicating a printer needs to be installed and asking if they want to install one now. Below is the complete message text and an image of the Printing Error displayed in the application after clicking Inventory Management > Network Systems.

NOTE: The Printing Error message displays once per session. If a user selects NO to install a printer now, the message does not display again until the next logon.

Before you can perform printer-related tasks such as page setup or
printing a document, you need to install a printer. Do you want to
install a printer now?
