Symptoms

Work Orders that have a start date prior to the anchor date are being rescheduled within the Planning Time Fence. The issue appears to occur when the planned anchor dates are greater than the batch start date. Find that Work Orders with a start date prior to the anchor date are being rescheduled within the Planning Time Fence



STEPS:
Run MRP with a work order that starts in the past.
Profile Option MSC : Firm Work Orders/Operation within Time Fence set to Yes
There is a consequent Planning Time Fence for this item (2 months)
ASCP suggests a rescheduling of the batch, 'Reschedule in' and violates the Planning Time Fence
