Goal
How can one resolve the memory issues when attempting to generate invoices for some large accounts in production?
Invoicing completes successfully for some smaller accounts; however, attempting to generate invoices for some large accounts in production, one may encounter memory issues and the invoice process does not complete successfully.
Consider the below scenario :
- There could be an account group (hierarchy) with the paying parent including around 50 subordinate accounts.
- At the time of invoicing, there may be around 100,000 events to be processed from all these accounts.
- From testnap, if you run PCM_OP_INV_MAKE_INVOICE, only for the account ( like above ) with such high volume of usage, the invoicing may not complete successfully and you may encounter memory error like below :
