Forecast Explosion For Product Family With Allocation Percentage Not Working Plus Additional Pointers (Doc ID 881849.1)

Symptoms

On 11.5.10 in Test:
Users have defined a Product Family Item and also 4 member items. They created BOM's for the
Member items. They created the Product Family in the Product Family form with allocation = 17%
for the members. They performed Load/Copy/Merge Forecast as well as to an MDS with Explode =
Yes. However when they look at the Forecast or MDS created, it only shows the Product Family item
and no Member items

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect the member items to show up in the forecast/MDS at 17% allocation when Explode = Yes when
performing Load/Copy/Merge Forecast or MDS.

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Product Family item is setup as MPS item with several MRP Planned Members
2. Allocation% is setup = 17%
3. They setup forecast for many weeks in the future for the Product Family Item
4. They did load/copy/merge Forecast from the one forecast to the new forecast with the following
key parameters:

Source Type = Specific Forecast
Overwrite = All
Explode = Yes
Quantity Type = Original
