Purpose

WebLogic Server clustering is tested and supported with P6 version 6.2.1 and later releases.  The purpose of this document is to provide guidelines for P6  support and deployment instruction for WebLogic clustering.

This document is written for P6 EPPM web based modules only, and does not include support for P6 Integration API or Web Services.

Also, when deployed into a cluster, High Availability (session replication) is supported with the following modules only:
  • P6 (all releases)
  • Progress Reporter (starting with r8.3.2 and later)
  • Team Member (starting with r8.4.0.0)

Weblogic's clustering feature is used to support high availability configurations, or to share workload across multiple servers.
