CTRL Server Errors ORA-00604 Subsequently ORA-00018 ORA-06508 ORA-06512 ORA-01001 (Doc ID 950103.1)

Symptoms

This is a fatal error that you could find in any ASAP server dialog file <server>${ENV_ID}.diag. In this case it was the CTRL server.

Here the CTRL server does not start up. Since this was the CTRL server, the rest of the ASAP servers do not start and therefore, ASAP does not start up.

Here is a CTRL server $ASAP_BASE/DATA/logs/CTRL${ENV_ID}.log log file entries. Note that this log does not correspond to the incident above, but the error messages will be similar:
