Symptoms

Using Advanced Supply Chain Planning / Standard or ATP Data Collection
When attempting to perform Standard or ATP Data Collection, the following error occurs.

<>CREATE TABLE ITEM_CATEGORIES_xxx TABLESPACE APPS_TS_TX_DATA PCTFREE 10
INITRANS 10 MAXTRANS 255 AS SELECT * FROM MSC_ITEM_CATEGORIES WHERE NULL=NULL
ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object


Steps:
1. (R) Advanced Supply Chain Planner
2. (N) Collections > Oracle Systems > Standard or ATP Data Collection
3. Inspect MSCPDC log file and observe an ORA-0955 error in procedure Create_Temp_Tab_PVT

Changes

At least one customer reported this problem after an aborted Planning / ATP Data Collections run.
