In EIP Security, When Data Access is Configured for a Group the 'View Access' SQL Does Not Show SQL Saved in the Plain Text SQL Editor Screen. (Doc ID 987529.1)

Symptoms

In EIP (Energy Information Platform) Security for Groups, a Group was configured with 'Data Access' [from the Group screen, select 'Data Access' then select the appropriate Data Source and Table, click 'Edit' above the table name]. The 'Overview' screen does not show the correct SQL and leaves out what was entered into the 'Plain Text' SQL Editor screen.

Example

Group Name: TeamA
Data Source: PWRLINE
Table Name: LSCMCONTRACT

Go to EIP Security and select the group 'Team A'. Then select 'Data Access' and choose the Data Source and Table name from the lists. Above the Table list select 'Edit.

You will be in the 'Data Access' view now. From here, select 'Plain Text' under 'SQL Editor'. The SQL entered here is:


It is expected that the SQL entered in the Plain Text editor is seen in 'View Access'.
