Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The circumstances below explain when a record is explicitly booked.

The system may book a candidate file when a user is editing the record, when the candidate accesses their profile, or if the last user in the file exited the file in a non-supported way

Scenarios

When clicking the Edit button from a candidate file, a submission or a requisition file, an error is displayed indicating this entity is currently booked, or explicitly booked.

Message: A read-only version of this requisition will be displayed. Do you want to continue? <name of a user> is currently editing this requisition.

The Advanced Eoffer setting is enabled. An EOffer is extended by a user. The candidate will access tasks to complete the required forms. (an Eoffer Transitions process will be used)

Candidate opens the Offer response form task but has not submitted the form. During this time, the manager/recruiter opens another job submission of the same candidate. They click Edit all

User gets message: Error you cannot modify this candidate file for the moment. The user [candidate full name] is currently editing it. No edits can be made.

If the user edits only a single section, no error will occur, but the candidate will not be able to submit their offer response until the edit is completed

The candidate will get the message: Account Temporarily inaccessible

Your account is not accessible for the moment. Please try again later.

The candidate task cannot be submitted until the user completes the edits, clicks save, and Done.
