Symptoms
The Publish Extensible Flexfield Attributes ESS job (SynchEFFAttributes) is failing. As a result, the Extensible flexfields artifacts were not published to OBR rules in MDS and the DOO EFF Categories are not showing up in ‘Edit Extensible Flexfield page’.
The problem occurs in a new environment where the flexfields were migrated using FSM. The user was able to successfully deploy the migrated flexfields, but the SynchEFFAttributes ESS job does not complete.
Customers expect the SynchEFFAttributes to complete successfully and the Extensible flexfields artifacts to be published to OBR rules in MDS. In addition the DOO EFF Categories should be shown in the - Edit Extensible Flexfield - form.
The issue can be reproduced by executing the following steps:
1. Migrate the EFF flexfields from a working environment using FSM.
2. Deploy the flexfields.
3. Submit the SynchEFFAttributes job.
