Information in this document applies to any platform.
Following scenario might be present when Oracle Social Network (OSN) is configured with an external LDAP server:
End user has a name change (in UID attribute), information of the user has to be modified on the LDAP server. This causes two possible scenarios:
1. User already exists in OSN (meaning, user has at least logged in once to OSN)
2. User has never logged in into OSN.
User information changes on the external LDAP server.
