PJC: Import Process In Error- PJF_CURR_PC_NO_EXCH_RATE: Application Cannot Calculate Project Currency Amounts (Doc ID 1635105.1)

Goal

On : 11.1.7.0.0 version, Other Issues

EMU FIXED rate type doesn't exist in Manage Daily Rates.

Steps

(1) Create project using EUR as project currency in UK.
(2) Functional currency for UK business unit/ledger is GBP.
(3) Create Labor Expenditure Batch and Import.
(4) The import fails with message EMU FIXED rate doesn’t exist.

Import and Process Cost - Transactions Execution Reports following error-
"The application cannot calculate project currency amounts. There is no conversion rate defined to convert from the transaction currency GBP to the project currency for this rate type EMU FIXED and rate date 2014-02-01.

User Action = Define a conversion rate for the specified currency attributes (transaction currency, project currency, rate type, and rate date) or revise the currency attributes, and resubmit.

Go to Manage Daily Rates and notice that there is no rate type EMU FIXED.
