Purpose
This note provides recommendations for bug fixes and configuration changes to maximize performance for RDBMS on Solaris platforms that use Sparc CPU's. It focuses mainly focus on 11.2.0.3 and 11.2.0.4 but some of the information will be relevant to older releases and version 12. These fixes will be especially effective for T series CPU's.
Scope
This should be a reference note for all dba's/sys admin's running Oracle RDBMS on Solaris M or T series.
