Purpose

This bulletin provides recommendations on how to set up a secure environment regarding database USERS within a database so that there is no risk that:
  - any user drops any application object by error
  - any user can shut the database down by error
  - any user can can delete all data from any application object by error

Scope

For DBAs who have to set up the user configuration in a database for multiple applications.
