Oracle Taleo Enterprise Edition: Users Missing When Changing Folder Access and Permissions in OBI (Doc ID 1944274.1)

Symptoms

Problem Description:

When attempting to give specific users access to artifacts (such as folders, reports, filters, etc..) in the Catalog in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), some users are not listed in the Search.

Example:

  1. Log into zone and access Oracle Business Intelligence
  2. Select the Catalog option in the top menu.
  3. Navigate to the location of the artifact that the user logged in with is the owner.
  4. Select the artifact.
  5. Select the Permissions option in the Tasks pane.
  6. On the Permissions dialog box, click the + button.
  7. In the List field, select Users.
  8. Click the Search button.
  9. Only some users are listed.
