Symptoms
When attempting to import transactions to IC the import process failed.
ERROR
Record 1: Rejected - Error on table CN_TP_TRANSACTIONS_STAGING_T, column SOURCE_TRX_NUMBER.
ORA-12899: value too large for column "FUSION"."CN_TP_TRANSACTIONS_STAGING_T"."SOURCE_TRX_NUMBER" (actual: 32, maximum: 30)
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create data file where the transaction number ( SOURCE_TRX_NUMBER ) value is larger than 30 characters
2. Run transaction import process.
3. The Import process submitting a child job that ended in a warning
4. Review the import log and see the error
