Analyst Payment Hierarchy Not Working For Compensation Plan Approval Workflow (Doc ID 2046641.1)

Symptoms

User create analyst payment hierarchy and use same for compensation plan approval workflow.
However, the supervisor (HCM manager) is getting notification.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
The analyst in Hierarchy also should get the approval notification



STEPS
1. Manage Parameters :
    Navigator > Setup and Maintenance > Task: Manage Parameters
    Default Participant Plan Approval Status = Ready to Publish
    Enable Plan Approval and Acceptance Workflow = Yes
    Analyst Approval Hierarchy Levels = 3
    Supervisor Approval Hierarchy Levels = 3

2. Participants
    Navigator > Participant Snapshots > Manage Participant Details
    IC Rep1 ==>  Analyst Assigned = IC Analyst1

3. Payment Analyst Hierarchy :
   Navigator > Participant Assignments > Manage Analyst Payment Approval Hierarchy

   Analyst Group (IC AnalystSupervisor )
         Analyst1 (IC AnalystManager )
              Analyst2 (IC Analyst1)

    All the date ranges are active from 01-JAN-2014 to 31-DEC-2014

4. Supervisor Hierarchy
   Navigator > Manage Users ... not viable
   a. IC Rep1 ==>  Manager = IC Mgr1
   b. IC Mgr1  ==>  Manager = null

5. Submit direct plan approval
   Navigator > Participant Snapshot > Manage Compensation Plan
   participant = IC Rep1, Comp plan = Simple Comp Plan , click on [ Submit for Approval ]

    a. Login as IC AnalystManager -- did not get notification
    b. Login as IC AnalystSupervisor  -- did not get notification
    c.  Login as IC Mgr1  -- approve notification
    d. Login as  IC Rep1 --- accept notification

RECAP:  Payment analysts did not get any notification
.
