The purpose of this document is to explain how query strings are captured on a form field via JavaScript. This will assist clients in determining referring sources, which in turn, will allow them to better understand and track their leads.

Note: This document is meant for assisting clients. However, customized code is outside of Eloqua Support's scope, and all inquiries or potential issues for how to set this up should go through your web development team. This document is merely a reference and example for showing how this could be implemented, but it is not officially supported.
