What Is the Effect of the Use Subscription of the Legal Entity Start Date on Backdated Transactions? (Doc ID 2070204.1)

Goal

When attempting to set up Transaction Tax at BU level to use Legal Entity Tax Subscription, on checking the "Use Legal Entity Tax Subscription", the "Use Subscription of the Legal Entity Start Date" defaults to sysdate and cannot be modified. What are the ramifications, if any, when creating transactions, which may be dated prior to the setup of Legal Entity (back dated transactions)?
