Using groovy script trigger for update of custom object (Doc ID 2072537.1)

Symptoms

Customer has a Groovy script on account creation 'Before Insert in Database' that is not working as expected.
The issue is related to the fact that at the account creation using this trigger the OwnerPartyId field is null.
