Purpose

 Custom Javascript implemented in a CPQ Cloud site can easily stop working after an upgrade due to changes made to the application. Frequently, elements that were formerly included on a page will no longer be there.

Custom Javascript in a CPQ Cloud site is not recommended. When custom Javascript fails in a site, it can lead to sales users being unable to quote as either functionality or data is no longer available to them. Additionally, custom Javascript can lead to site performance issues if not well-written.
