Symptoms

Special characters are not imported accordingly in the application. They appear as "�" compromising the address information.

Changes

 In this case Oracle Enterprise Repository templates were used. Tests performed during the web conference confirmed that these templates (ex. importing Supplier Addresses) are default encoded in UTF-8.

However if old templates are manipulated several times at some point the encoding is lost and needs to be manually configured with Notepad++.
