Purpose

Document Purpose:

This document is intended to provide information that will help prepare customers for the Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) tenant migration that takes place in conjunction with a TEE Service Pack update.

A tenant migration is the equivalent of OBI being moved from one Service Pack level to another (ie. 20X to 21X or 21X to 22X) or OBI being moved from one application version to another (ie. REL7 to REL12).

 

An OBI tenant migration is different than an OBI quarterly update or maintenance pack update. 
For details regarding OBI quarterly / maintenance pack updates, refer to Updates to Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI).
