Roles Are Not Assigned Automatically For Partner Users

Information in this document applies to any platform.
1. I created a partner contact and in Manage User Details, I selected Partner Salesperson for Role and checked the Create User Account.
2. A same user was created in OIM and when checked for Roles, only "All Users" role was assigned.
3. Partner Sales Representative role was not assigned to the user and hence the user does not have required access to the system.
Note: As expected when a partner user is created, selected roles should be automatically to the user.
How to resolve this issue.
