Incorrect Password Error When Trying to Upload Private Images for IaaS Compute

This article explains the reason why an error saying the password used is incorrect when trying to upload a private image for IaaS Compute. The password is correct from a user point of view as the same password can be used to successfully access the My Services dashboard / log in to the Cloud services.
