How to to restrict the opportunity access only for opportunity team member or opportunity territory member?

Goal

Initially, customer had the following requirement:

A. We have territories assigned to accounts and we do not want to have them any more. How can this be achieved?

After we asked for details in regards the business requirement, customer advised as per below:

B. We want to restrict the opportunity access only for opportunity team member or opportunity territory member. The OOTB functionality is that all the account team/account territory member have the access to the opportunities attached to the account.
