Symptoms

Example referenced below is using HCM related to the Goals social object, but the same would apply to any social object being shared from FAPPS (opportunity, etc.)

After performing steps to share the a Social Object (example: goals) from your Fusion Application (example: HCM) to Oracle Social Network (OSN) using the steps outlined in:

<Document 2106840.1> Fusion Application's (FAPPS) Object is Missing the Social Tab and Cannot be Shared with the Oracle Social Network (OSN)
or
<Document 2026063.1> How To Enable Social Object in Fusion Apps Release 9 ?

The social network button is still missing from the social objects.

For cases in CRM, also verified that the "hide tabs" setting is not in place for social:
