Symptoms

On : 11.1.11.1.0 version, Post Journal Entries

When attempting Post a journal from the application, the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
Error - Posting cannot be completed because the balances cube is unavailable. The addition of new segment values may be the cause. Resubmit posting after five minutes.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigator
2. Journals
3. Manage Journals.
4. Edit the journal, click on Post.


BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact: Due to this issue, users cannot post journals.
