Created Date/Time Field Only Showing Date- Please advise of workarounds as we want to show Date and time for this field (Doc ID 2177341.1)

Goal

We have a requirement to show the system field, CreateDate to show the date/time for a custom object.
We have added the field to the UI but it's only showing the date but not the time.
We checked in the OOTB objects, they are the same way. When we created a SQL report in BI, we can see the field is storing as date/time.
We need to know how we can have the date/time show up for that field. Please advise as this is a critical requirement for the client.
