Symptoms

Invoking a web service fails with:

access denied (oracle.wsm.security.WSFunctionPermission http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/scm/doo/decomposition/orderDetailServices/orderInformationService/OrderInformationService#GetOrderDetails invoke)

In this instance, the intent is to retrieve details of an existing order via the "GetOrderDetails" operation. The same user credentials that are being used to invoke the web service can successfully query and create orders via the Sales Order UI.

The Order Information Service WSDL syntax is :-

https://XXXXXXXXXX.scm.ZZZ.oraclecloud.com:443/soa-infra/services/default/DooDecompReceiveOrderExternalComposite/ReceiveOrderRequestService?WSDL

where:
XXXXXXXXXX – Pod, e.g.AAA-TEST
ZZZ – Data Center, e.g. EM2

eg. https://AAA-test.scm.em2.oraclecloud.com:443/dooDecompOrderDetailSvc/OrderInformationService
