Symptoms

Unable to close period in Projects due to error in Miscellaneous Cost transactions shown in Subledger Period Close Exception Report -

Reported Error
Subledger Accounting was unable to retrieve a value for the accounting flexfield account rule.
Cause: GL account cannot be derived by account rule.
Action: Review the account rule definition and the extract source values, if applicable, for the event and make sure a valid GL account can be derived for the subledger journal entry.

Replication Steps
1. Create Miscellaneous Transaction
2. Submit 'Import and Process Cost Transactions' process
3. Navigate to Manage Expenditure Items page to verify the data created
4. Submit 'Create Accounting for Projects' with Ledger, Process Category, End Date, Process Mode in Draft & Report Style as Detailed.
