Why Are the Results Different in the Lead Score Filter and the Classic Insight Lead Score Dashboard?

When filtering on lead score, the numbers are different than the results in the Classic Insight Lead Score by Contact dashboard.

In the following example, there are zero contacts with a lead score of A3 in the filter, but six contacts in the dashboard.
