Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

The information in this article pertains to CPQ Cloud sites using version 2016 R2 and later.

Beginning with CPQ Cloud 2016 R2, it will now be possible to integrate and utilize an external configurator with the Pricing and Quoting capabilities of CPQ Cloud. Sales users will access the external configurator from the CPQ Cloud Home Page, complete their configuration in the external system, and then return to CPQ Cloud for pricing, discounting, and proposal generation.

External configurators may be in Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Sales Cloud, or other third-party configurators.

NOTE: Third-Party configurator integration may require additional steps to configure the integration.
