Supplier Not Visible When Linking Supplier Product Code with Organization Product (Item) Code

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When trying to link the Supplier Product Code With Organization Product (ITEM) Code, the Supplier is not visible in the LOV. Items are already created in Fusion Product Information Management and Suppliers are created in the Supplier Portal.
Supplier should be listed under LOV.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Manage Items
2. Search for an item and edit it
3. Go to Relationships tab--> Trading partner items
4. Trading Partner type as "Supplier"
5. Unable to find the supplier list under LOV.
