Symptoms

 After creating or adding and then deploying new Descriptive FlexFields (DFF)  When user attempts to approve the Expense report or Cash Advance e then the following error occurs :

An Application error occurred . See the incident log for more information .
The approval process was halted due to an application error. Your help desk may refer to incident 11, ESS_SOAServer_as1_01, FADomain. (FUN-720303)
