Getting error while adding rec. docs in opportunity sales stage

Getting an error while adding recommended documents or Assessment templates to a sales stage. not allowing me to configure sales stages

ERROR

The value of the attribute AssessTemplateId is not valid.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup and maintenance
2. Manage sales methods
3. Common Set - click on standard sales process
4. Add Assessment templates - Apply done
5. then click on save

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot add assessment templates to a sales stage.
