Symptoms

How to include user level security when running direct queries against the database to gather PX data?

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
The query 'select * from p6project;' run as the PX Reporting User (default name pxrptuser) returns no data.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
The data in P6PROJECT should be displayed, similar to the data in PROJECT (PX table)

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open SQL Developer
  2. Login in using the PX Reporting User (Example: "PXRPTUSER")
  3. Run the query: select * from p6projects;
  4. The query returns no data in the table
