Goal

Is there a way to limit the HCM Extract to the first attribute retrieved? The goal is to fetch the first row of multiple records.

Because date values could be different for different records you cannot write a condition based on date value. Instead, use ’rownum’ in advanced filter criteria to fetch the first row of multiple records.>

  1. All Person Records need to be retrieved.
  2. For each person record, retrieve only the first driving license. Any succeeding license must not be retrieved per person. Using date as filter criteria cannot be used. Only first record needs to be picked up by HCM extract.

The user wants to extract the driver's license in the first row for an individual using the following user entities (UEs). In this example, the driver's license in the first row should be fetched for the extract.

Root Data Group: PER_EXT_SEC_PERSON_UE
Attributes:
-------------
- Person ID
- Person Number
- Person Last Name
- Person First Name

Child Data Group: PER_EXT_DRIVING_LICENSE_UE
Attributes:
--------------
- Extract Driving License Number
