Need to set the same tax registration number in 2 different legal entities

Users have 2 legal entities each on different ledgers sharing the same tax registration number for which only one tax declaration will be send to the tax jurisdiction.
Users have set the VAT Tax ID in the Legal Reporting Unit Tax Profile in the first legal entity and they want to set it in a second legal entity too but they get the message:
"This tax registration number already exists for party type First party legal reporting unit and party name for the same period.
Cause You cannot use the same tax registration number for different party types and party names for the same period.
Action For this party, you must enter a different tax registration number or enter a different period".

How can the users implement the tax registration number in order to have in one run the Tax Register providing data for all legal entities sharing the same registration number no mater the ledger.
