Purpose

The purpose of this document is to provide reference instruction for how to create and manage the Java keystore for external decryption/encryption keys.

Scope

This document is applicable to P6 EPPM only.

P6 PPM deployments do not support usage of unique, external decryption/encryption keys using a java keystore mechanism.
The following bug request will be utilized for removal of the P6 keystore installer files from the P6 PPM database media: Bug 26726233 - unable to run p6 pro internal plugins (i.e xml expor) with ae06 encryption
