Does The Provisioning Of The Oracle Cloud SOA Service Instance Automatically Add The Necessary OWSM Configuration? (Doc ID 2290254.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2024

Applies to:

SOA Suite Cloud Service - Version N/A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We deployed an SCA component with a reference to a backend SOAP service.

Using EM we applied a security policy oracle/wss11_x509_token_with_message_protection_client_policy on the reference in the composite containing the BPEL process.

Now when calling the backend service we get following error:

Indeed the stripe 'owsm' was missing in the domain security configuration.

This point is blocking for us because we need to add X.509 security on the web service calls.

1. Doesn't the provisioning of the Oracle Cloud SOA Service instance automatically add the necessary OWSM configuration?
2. If not, what is the procedure to add it afterwards?
