Last updated on JULY 12, 2024

Applies to:

Latin America Cloud Local Solution (LACLS) - Version 12 to 13 [Release 12 to 13]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

This document provides information to support the implementation of a predefined solution, called rapid implementation tool kit, released by Latin America Cloud Local Solution (LACLS) for Brazil.

Scope

This Note has a guidance to implement and use the LACLS Brazilian solution, and a white paper with guidelines in how to implement Tax in Brazil.

Product Requirement to use LACLS:

Available LACLS Solution:

Cost adjustment to allocate self assessed taxes charges over items related to freight operations.

Item relationship automatic creation based on previous receiving operation.

Several third party solution validated integration and LACLS extractors for Electronic Invoicing , Fiscal Reports, Treasure, and import/export trading.

Dashboard in PaaS and new flows using buit in events to adjust operations using Oracle WMS with ERP Cloud.

Set of user interfaces and processes responsible for giving visibility to the user about the company goods sent to the third party until they are returned, issuing alerts when the deadline established for returning the goods is close or exceeded.
This solution offers a fiscal control for the items that are outside the company. It works based on the issued and received fiscal documents, considering fiscal document information like party details, items, quantities and CFOPs (CFOPs that are involved in material that are required to be controlled during the time they are out of the company). Any need for accounting or inventory management has to be done using Cloud ERP capabilities. Accounting and inventory management is not scope for this solution.

This solution makes use of the FBDI tables that were introduced by FDG at Cloud ERP release 23B to offer an automated solution generating fiscal documents based on Shipment transactions without user intervention (at FDG UI).
It is a feature that can be scheduled to process from time to time that searches for shipments in “stage” status that are in BRL currency, and that are expecting a Brazilian fiscal document to be created.
Solution automates two types of Shipment transactions:
- Shipments based on Sales Orders
- Shipments based on Internal Transfers

This solution will automatically upload and treat NFS-e XML files that were previously approved by the Brazilian municipal government and are available to be process at Oracle UCM directory.

This solution brings some reports with the aim of auditing some mandatory configurations for the correct functioning of the modules offered for Brazil such as tax calculation, Generation and Capture of Fiscal Documents. This is a set of reports built in BI Publisher that will help ERP Cloud implementers and users to identify and prevent known errors due to lack of configuration in the environment.
