For an item with primary UOM as Each (EA), how to allocate landed cost charges by Volume (Allocation basis : Volume)? (Doc ID 2296121.1)

Goal

Requirement is to allocate charges by volume which is in meter cubes m3.  The item is ordered on the PO with base UOM as Ea. On system the base UOM for volume is Litre.

Expectation is, on trade operation charge lines, the allocation basis is Volume and Allocation base UOM should be M3, and not Liters which is base UOM for volume.

 
In order to be able to allocate the charges, had to perform the conversion from m3 to L.  Performing the conversion is complicated and there is a risk of errors.
