Symptoms

 When clicking on the 'compile all formula' button in the validate region of an HCM Data Extract the following message is generated:

An application error occurred. See the incident log for more information
an application error has occurred. Your help desk can use the following
information to obtain a more detailed description of this
incident:<incidentNo>,Server Domain: HCMDomain, Server
Instance:CoreSetupServer_1, Application Name: HCMCoreSetupApp.
