EM Console SOA-INFRA Access Roles

Created a new User group in DefaultAuthenticator or external LDAP and added the group to Admin Global Role.
This was done by adding the group in Admin Console ->Security Realms ->Roles and Policies -> Global Roles ->Admin.
The user under this group is having all Administrator privileges in Admin Console, however the user is unable to access SOA-INFRA contents in EM Console. After clicking SOA-INFRA, the screen shows dashboard with message "You do not have the permissions to view this region". Why is this so?
Similar behavior observed when groups were added under Monitor/Operator/Deployer roles of Global Roles in Security Realm.
